Hosted by Mr. John Dixon, Jazz from Hampton House features artists who have performed at Miami’s Historic Hampton House. This includes icons such as Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie, Cannonball Adderley, Sarah Vaughn, among others. Since its revival as a performance venue, rising contemporary artists that perform at Hampton House will also be featured.

The Historic Hampton House was home to many influential Black leaders and entertainers who could not find adequate accommodations during the segregated period of Miami’s history. Leaders such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X, and Muhammed Ali all visited Hampton House.
