Miami Art Studio 6-12 @ Zelda Glazer sophomore student has organized a Farm Share Food
Distribution in hopes to assist the communities most needy. Farm Share a Non-for-Profit Organization
has partnered with Steven Ferreiro a sophomore student at Miami Art Studio to provide approximately
500 families with about 25 pounds of nonperishable food including poultry, vegetables, bread, and
juice, and more.

“I have been working on this community project for the past 4 months alongside Farm Share and the
assistance of the Administration of Miami Art Studio on making sure this event would occur and run
smoothly. This will be my first event since starting my non-profit organization called “Helping Others
And Giving Hope”. I have seen the need in our community first hand while volunteering with other
local groups. This seemed as a great opportunity for our school and student body to give a little back
to our own community. My hope is that this will alleviate their personal situation a little bit and provide
them with some hope.” Said Steven Ferreiro
